Performance characteristics:
- Excellent mechanical properties: yield strength ≥ 450MPa, tensile strength between 600-800MPa, elongation usually exceeding 25%, high strength and good toughness and ductility, able to withstand large pressure and impact loads
- Strong corrosion resistance: With high chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen content, it has strong resistance to point corrosion and crevice corrosion in oxidizing and acidic solutions. It has outstanding corrosion resistance in chloride containing environments and excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion, making it suitable for harsh corrosive environments
- Good welding performance: The welding joint performance is comparable to the base material, with a small coefficient of thermal inclination during welding. Preheating is generally not required before welding, and heat treatment is usually not required after welding. It can be welded with dissimilar materials such as 304 carbon steel
