Chemical Composition

- Carbon (C): ≤ 0.08% can reduce carbide precipitation during welding and lower the risk of intergranular corrosion.
- Silicon (Si): ≤ 1.00% helps to improve the strength and oxidation resistance of steel.
- Manganese (Mn): ≤ 2.00% can enhance the strength and toughness of steel.
- Phosphorus (P): ≤ 0.045%, sulfur (S) ≤ 0.030%, impurity elements, excessive content will reduce the performance of steel.
- Chromium (Cr): 22.0-24.0%, is the main element that ensures corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance.
- Nickel (Ni): 12.0-15.0%, improves the toughness, oxidation resistance, and high temperature resistance of stainless steel.

Characteristic

- High temperature resistance: can be used at temperatures up to 1050 ℃, can withstand repeated heating below 980 ℃, and can withstand long-term use under high loads between 650-700 ℃.
- Antioxidant properties: Chromium and nickel elements enable it to form a dense oxide layer, effectively resisting oxidation and corrosion, and not easily rusting or oxidizing in high temperature environments.
- Corrosion resistance: It has good resistance to various corrosive media and can resist strong acid media such as high concentration nitric acid and sulfuric acid. It performs well in sulfur-containing and nitrogen-containing gas environments.
- Processing performance: Good processing performance, easy to shape, bend and weld, excellent cold processing performance, but slightly more difficult to process than 304 series stainless steel.

Application Area

-In the field of industrial furnaces, it is used to manufacture components such as furnace tubes, furnace liners, and furnace linings for heating furnaces and heat treatment furnaces.
-In the field of petrochemicals, equipment such as cracking furnaces, reaction vessels, heat exchangers, and pipelines can be produced, which can work stably in high temperature, high pressure, and highly corrosive media environments.
-In the field of electric power, it is suitable for superheaters, reheaters, steam pipelines, etc. of boilers, and can withstand the erosion and corrosion of high temperature and high pressure steam.
