316L stainless steel coil is a rolled steel made of 316L stainless steel and belongs to austenitic stainless steel.
- Corresponding grades: National standard Ni12Mo2, American standard ASTM316L UNS S31603, European standard EN 1.4404, Japanese standard SUS316L.
Characteristic:
- Corrosion resistance: Containing molybdenum element, it has strong resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and uniform corrosion in corrosive media such as chloride ions. It can resist marine environment and industrial atmospheric erosion, and has excellent resistance to grain boundary corrosion.
- Mechanical properties: In the annealed state, the tensile strength is ≥ 485MPa, the yield strength is ≥ 170MPa, the elongation at break is ≥ 40%, the hardness is ≤ 95HRB, and it has good toughness and impact resistance.
- Heat resistance: When intermittently applied at temperatures below 1600 ° F (approximately 871 ° C), it has good oxidation resistance and is more resistant to chromium carbide precipitation than ordinary 316 stainless steel.
- Processing performance: It has good plasticity, weldability, and is easy to perform cutting, bending, stamping, stretching, and other processing operations.
